Due to new opportunities, our client which is one of the leading companies in the Electronic Manufacturing industry is currently looking for a; “Global Technical Sales Lead – Marine”.

REQUIREMENTS

• M.Sc. preferred in an applicable fields such as Marine Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Control Technology or Automation
• Strong background in system-level design, electrical and automation system integration of electric propulsion, battery integration, large mission equipment, dc grids, and similar applications in marine electrical grids
• Fluent in English
• Frequency converter and motor product experience preferred
• Field experience such as commissioning/service engineering would be a plus.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Acts as a marine application- and systems specialist to support local and global teams with technical advice primarily related to complex systems topics involving drives
• Offers technical advice and provides comments on inquiry specifications for customers/channels/Sales Specialists with regard to products/systems/ applications and surrounding systems
• Provides technical support during the technical meeting, product presentations and negotiations. • Performs analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet customer needs
• Proposes technical solutions for complex inquiries
• Prepares and delivers technical presentations and demonstrations for both internal staff and customers on complex product issues
• Offers product/ solution/service-related training. Prepares and checks technical articles and guides for publication
• Sales support: Technically supports the local sales units and global sales team in their offer preparations. Supports to ensure offers and proposals are based on technically and commercially optimized solutions
• Customer relations and satisfaction: Participates in customer visits and remote meetings as well as during their visits to the local factory site. Prepares product and solution presentations in coordination with global and local marine sales teams.
