Due to new opportunities, our client which is one of the leader companies in the Composit industry is currently looking for a Design and Analysis Engineer in Munich, Germany.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Related person will take part in R&D and product development activities of the composite materials in the mass production process for our aerospace, automotive and other industrial projects.
• Bachelor and Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering of a reputable University,
• Min. 2 years of experience in a similar position,
• Advanced level of English in listening, speaking, reading and writing,
• Comprehensive theoretical knowledge about continuum and solid mechanics,
• Have knowledge about geometric dimensioning and tolerance, create assembly technical drawings,
• Use at least one of the relevant designing tools effectively (Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, Catia),
• Have knowledge and experience in structural analysis,
• Able to do static, dynamic, kinematics and fatigue calculations in line with the system requirements,
• Use at least one of the relevant finite element analysis tools effectively such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, LS-DYNA
• Proficiency in MS Office programs,
• Having strong analytical thinking, problem solving and innovative approach,
• Good at team work,
• No restrictions to travel
PREFERABLY
• Experienced in automotive industry projects
• MSc in the area of mechanics of composite materials, working knowledge of composite micro-mechanics and classical laminate theory
• Hands on experience in full range of reinforcement materials and formats and with both thermoplastic and thermoset matrices,
• Strong background in advanced-composite material development, selection, specification, characterization and qualification, experience in structural optimization
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Determining the needs and objectives according to the projects,
• Designing lightweight advanced composite CFRP products to meet customers’ requirements,
• Performing mechanical and structural design activities in line with the defined requirements and objectives,
• Verification of designs with structural analysis and taking necessary improvement and optimization actions,
• Making documentation of the design data and the product life cycle management,
• Supporting mechanical / structural testing and verification activities,
• Monitoring and coordinating preparation of the production, assembly and integration documents.
