Due to new opportunities, our client which is one of the leader companies in the Building Materials industry is currently looking for a; ‘ Laboratory Operator /Technician’.
QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience in a Laboratory environment,
• Ability to work safely at all times and follow laboratory standard operating procedures
• Experience with Microsoft office including Microsoft excel
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Dynamic, energetic, motivated with a positive outlook and “can-do” attitude
• Be a Team player
JOB DESCRIPTION
• Receiving, labeling and safely storing samples to be tested
• Performing tests and analyses according to analysis plan
• Recording tests and analyses, reporting the results
• Discussing and answering any questions regarding the results
• Organizing and storing samples in accordance with all safety and other requirements to ensure the safety of personnel and integrity of the sample
• Cleaning and maintaining lab equipment as per 5S and quality norms of company, including recalibration of equipment
• Maintaining equipment records and daily work logs
• Staying current on technical and scientific advances in their field
• Multi-skilled and flexible as per daily operational needs of lab
