Chronos Consulting’s client is a leader in food audit and certification services.
We are seeking a dynamic sales hunter to join a growing sales team for Food Certification services. You will conduct all sales activities within the assigned territory, working consultatively with customers to address business needs. This is a home based role with extensive travel.
The Role
Reporting to the Director of Sales USA for Food Safety, you will:
Execute all sales activities; develop and implement business/marketing plan for expanding customer base in the assigned territory
Generate proposals in compliance with Accreditation Body requirements and/or product sector requirements
Coordinate with the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term overall account goals
Develop and maintain database of all qualified leads, maintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, presentations, closed sales, and follow-up activities
Create and conduct effective proposal presentations and RFP responses; participate in and contribute to the development of educational programs offered to clients
The Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline, coupled with at least 3-5+ years of sales experience
Food/ingredient auditing, testing, or manufacturing experience preferred
Proven ability to close business deals and achieve sales quotes
Technical selling skills and ability to build strong customer relationships
Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
